The Eva Purse

My good buddy Roxanne is wild for dachshunds.  In fact she rescues them...she has 6!  At Christmas we shot portraits of them all and created a coffee table book.  One picture of "Eva" has inspired stationery...and now...a purse. 

I took this shot of Eva and turned it into a silhouette.  I cut a silk screen 

stencil from contact paper and adhered it to the screen.

I printed some notecards and fabric

                                              

I quilted all three pieces (body of the purse and ends)

Attached handle straps

Sewed the ends after attaching a zipper

Voila'...the Eva purse
