 Back in more normal times...the grand babies would visit and enjoy fun days at Mauna Kea.

Floater...or so I'm told

 Wasn't sure what to call this but someone commented and called it a floater so there you go.

 Worked on a commission this week.  I used to paint lots of pet portraits in watercolor...this is the first time I've tried it in oils.  Think it turned out pretty well.  

Bird of Paradise...

We have a lot of these in the yard...not many blooming but when they do...wow!

 One of our favorite movies from long ago...and since this is Wednesday seemed appropriate to post my latest surfing painting.

 Another surfing painting...I'm enjoying these.  Water is like painting glass...getting that transparent look is tough.

Painting a very lovely photo

 My daughter's friend saw the painting I did of Wim (in the earlier post) and asked if I could paint the photo below.  She said it was a beautiful evening at the beach and wanted to capture the moment.  It was very fun to paint.
